Neve Golan neighborhood
Neve Golan is a neighborhood in southwest Jaffa located about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the pastoral and quiet beach of Givat Aliya and a 5 minute drive from the Ayalon Highway. In the eastern part of the neighborhood there are 2 light rail stations
The neighborhood was established in the early 1960s and was designed by architect Robert Bennett, similar to the green Ramat Aviv. He also designed it according to the idea of the “Garden City” conceived by Ebenezer Howard and Camillo Cita
The principles of the Garden City are prominent in the planning of the neighborhood: large spaces between the buildings, which allow maximum privacy for residents and open, green spaces. Indeed, in the small neighborhood of just under 1,000 apartments, you can find many gardens and many green spaces
Neve Golan has 4 elementary schools and 2 community centers that provide rich activities for children and adults, and it also benefits from many sports facilities for the well-being of residents: Neve Golan Pool, which is planned to become the neighborhood country club, 2 large soccer fields, basketball and volleyball courts, facilities for toddlers, fitness facilities for adults and a dog park
In recent years, Neve Golan has been undergoing an accelerated process of urban renewal that brings with it a new, high-quality population, which will eventually result in the construction of thousands of housing units in the neighborhood. If you walk around the neighborhood, you will discover several projects whose construction has been completed, additional buildings under construction, and in addition to which several projects that are in the planning stages are being promoted
In recent years, the neighborhood has enjoyed a sharp increase in demand for apartments among families and investors who recognize the tremendous potential to live in a green and renewed neighborhood in Tel Aviv-Yafo that is connected to the relief corridor, and is located a short walk from the beach at a reasonable price, and an increase in demand for apartments for rent from young people and students due to its proximity to the academic college. In the last decade, apartment prices in the neighborhood have been rising steadily and continuously, and there are also investors who believe that when the construction of all the planned projects is completed,
prices in Neve Golan will equal its long-standing sister – the green Ramat Aviv, and perhaps even exceed them
